This study aims to analyze the foundations of the Qur’an and Hadith in shaping the concept of entrepreneurship from an Islamic perspective. The main focus of this research is on Surah At-Taubah verse 105, Surah An-Najm verse 39, and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad stating that “the upper hand is better than the lower hand.” This research employs a literature research method by examining various scientific sources such as journals, books, and relevant academic articles published within the last ten years. The findings indicate that Islam provides a strong foundation for entrepreneurial activities through values of hard work, responsibility, and independence. Surah At-Taubah verse 105 emphasizes the importance of working professionally and responsibly, as all actions will be accounted for before Allah. Surah An-Najm verse 39 highlights that human beings will only obtain what they strive for, encouraging productivity and discouraging dependency. The Hadith further strengthens this concept by emphasizing the virtue of giving rather than receiving, reflecting economic independence and social responsibility. This study concludes that entrepreneurship in Islam is not merely profit-oriented but also emphasizes blessings, ethics, and social welfare.
