It was chosen as the journal’s name to represent a commitment to the process of seeking, examining, developing, and disseminating knowledge grounded in Islamic scholarly values. In the context of Islamic Studies and Syariah, TASDIQ reflects an academic spirit of conducting critical, systematic, objective, and responsible research on various issues related to Islamic Studies and Syariah. The meaning of “tasdiq” is not intended as a claim that all research findings must dogmatically accept a particular viewpoint as truth, but rather as a representation of the intellectual effort to understand, test, confirm, and develop knowledge through scientific methodology.

The journal aims to promote research that contributes to the development of syariah sciences and Islamic scholarship in response to contemporary social and challenges. welcome papers from academicians on theories, philosophy, conceptual paradigms, academic research, as well as religion practices. In particular, papers which consider the following general topics are invited Islamic Studies and Syariah (The journal welcomes scholarly studies in the field of Islamic Studies and Syariah, including Islamic law, Uṣul al-fiqh, Qawaʿid Fiqhiyyah, Maqaṣid al-shari’ah, Islamic Family Law, Islamic Economic Law (Muʿamalat), Syariah Economic, Halal Studies, Waqf and Zakat, as well as contemporary issues in Syariah).
